Tradfest is an annual event celebrating traditional rock climbing in Snowdonia. It is based in the village of Nant Peris at the foot of the Llanberis Pass, one of the most iconic areas in Britain for rock climbing. This year's event will be held from Friday June 9th to Sunday June 11th, with tickets costing £35.
The format for the event is based around its ethos of celebrating rock climbing. Run from a Friday evening through to the Sunday night there are talks, information, test gear, food, drink, festival T shirts and goody bags.
Based in the Llanberis Pass you are within 5 minutes of some of the most classic trad routes ever put up. Within an hour's drive or walk you have access to Cloggy, Lliwedd, the Ogwen Valley, the Carneddau, Tremadog, the Moelwyns and the mighty Gogarth, to mention just a few areas.
